I was looking around at different LJ communities the other day, trying to find one that had a place specifically for Peter Pan art. I found quite a few that were out there, but most focus on icons and wallpapers, whereas I was hoping to find something more along the lines of illustrations/drawings/sketches (traditional or digital). I know there has been an increase in interest after the film in 2003 (I know it was true for me) so I'm sure that there has to be at least a few other people interested in this also. I know that Peter Pan does not have a big following in terms of fanart as say, Harry Potter, but I would like to see how far I can take this. If you are at all interested, please feel free to post here, I'd love to see your work!

Re: hello:)

Yeah, first member! Right on. (No gifts-but I'll be forever grateful) Thanks so much for being the first to put up art-I did notice right away, but just didn't get around to replying. Nice job-all done in Photoshop? If so- that's hard for me, I have to put a skecth in first for reference. Although I don't have a tablet so...that's expected I suppose. It looks good, though I think you could add even more detail here, perhaps for the leaves and such. Thanks again. Come and post again soon!

oh-and isn't the movie fantastic? I'm so surprised that it didn't do very well at the box office. It was probably the best movie I've seen so far this year, (though I'll bet the third HP will be at the top of the list.) Ah, well, all the more for us, I suppose. It's nice to like something that hasn't been glommed on to yet. Too bad Jeremy Sumpter is younger than me, he's awfully cute with that little lisp. They're two good-looking kids, I must say.

Pan movie

Definately! yeah...I've been reading through postings and what not to get an idea of livejournal-ing i guess you'd call it lol I love the new Peter Pan movie! The graphics were really well done, I think. I can't guarantee that I'll post a picture...first cuz I have no idea how to do that...second I dunno how to use Photoshop...I've forgotten already and I don;t have th program here. If ever I find a way to get a picture up here, I definately will. Your idea sounds really awesome to me and I too was shocked that the movie didn't do that well. And yes...Jeremy Sumpter is absolutley adorable! I must say, I'm jealous of Wendy...she has those gorgeous lips and she gets to kiss Jeremy...o the joys of acting lol.:o)
